The Second Hegemony, officially the Celestial Hegemony of Great Peace, was an oppositional state in Tovakizar from 1106 to 1120, supporting the overthrow of the Morekar dynasty by Kishar and her followers. The unsuccessful war it waged against the Morekar is known as Kishar's Rebellion. Its capital was at Jannah.
A self-proclaimed convert to Asharanism, Kishar led an army that controlled a significant part of southern Tovakizar during the beginning of the 12th century, eventually expanding to a size of nearly 30 million people. The rebel kingdom announced social reforms and the replacement of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Chinese folk religion by her form of Asharanism, holding that she was the third prophet of Ashar. The Celestial areas were besieged by Morekar forces throughout most of the rebellion. The Morekar government defeated the rebellion with the eventual aid of the Seresian Imperium.
